Tight shoulders, a lump in the throat, a pain in the chest - all have stories to tell . . . |
. . . they tell us what we're really feeling as opposed to what we think we are feeling. Deeper "listening" reveals suppressed emotions and unconscious beliefs stored as "energy" in our bodies. Left unacknowledged these trapped energies tend to color our perspective, influence our decisions, and take a toll on our bodies - resulting in what we call stress. If we want to feel better, if we want to feel free, we must meet these limiting energies where we stored them in the first place - not in our heads, but in our bodies. It's to our bodies we must return. It's in this reconnection to the source that we can heal and grow. It's the way of nature and the animals. It's our way too. It's just that we've forgotten how. |
The Body Is the Doorway To the Unconscious Mind.Learning how to access the bodymind via ordinary body sensations, will often reveal stuck "energy" in the form of feelings, beliefs, and thought patterns.

. . . What really amazed me the most, however, was the first-hand healing that occurred for me through my participation with a Body Centered Exercise with you, and with being in the ring with your beautiful horses. I was able to release sadness that I really didn’t even know I held. I know exactly where I held it too. For YEARS I have had left low back and hip pain.
