Dear Woman,
I am dedicating this page to you because I recognize that your needs, desires, and challenges are different from a man's.
While it is true that both men and women hold a certain degree of emotional pain and that the healing of that pain follows a certain protocol, there's a way that we, as women, carry that pain that's unique to us simply because we are built differently: we have different "plumbing," our bodies were designed to do different things, and our chemistry is different.
In our collective attempt to break free of hundreds, maybe thousands of years of being regarded as "less than," we have emerged as equals in terms of intelligence and in our ability to make our own way in the world.
But our desire to be recognized and valued as equals has required us to adopt masculine values and ideals, either consciously or not, and to animate a more masculine energy in our bodies.
There is nothing wrong with this. Within both men and women there is masculine and feminine energy. It's just that our busy and fast-paced lives require us to engage and channel this masculine energy and stay there, leaving us little time and opportunity to remember that we as women are, and need, much more than that.
This page is an offering - an invitation to remember that as a woman you have within you a unique and special kind of power that comes, not from your intellect, your personal will and determination, or in your ability to focus and make things happen.
The kind of power that I'm speaking of comes from your capacity to surrender open, receive, and to be a channel for life force energy, healing energy, love and compassion energy. In opening to this energy we are healed, we are restored to balance, and we bring healing to our world in the process.
