How Phone Coaching Works

• You will call Shelly at your scheduled time
• You will provide a brief overview of what's going on and your general feelings about it
• Shelly will help you get grounded, quiet your mind, connect with your body, and help you track the feelings and body sensations, with compassion, until they are released.
• Before ending your session, you will check in with your bodymind and make sure you feel lighter and freer with regards to the topic. You may even find that you see solutions that you couldn't see before or that a calm inner-knowing or wisdom has replaced the negative feelings.

When is phone coaching not a good fit?

Phone coaching is not a replacement for counseling or psychotherapy. 

• If you're mostly just wanting to vent or have someone to talk to and have them provide feedback
• If you've been diagnosed with a mental illness and are needing ongoing support for suicidal thoughts or medication monitoring,

​counseling or psychotherapy would probably be more appropriate.
