Ever since I was a little girl, I loved being outdoors. One Sunday morning, I asked my father if I could stay at home and have church in the woods by myself. I couldn't really connect with the man "fussing" at me from the podium. But I could feel God - in the wind in the trees, in the air that I breathed, and I could feel a loving presence in every living thing.
